The NSW Government has announced a new Pilot that will
support landholders undertaking farm forestry to improve the active management
of their forests for long-term sustainability outcomes. The Pilot will be delivered by Local Land Services and
overseen by an independent panel of forestry and natural resource management
experts. The Pilot will pair landholders with expert advice and incentives to
support best practice forest management as part of a long-term stewardship
plan.
Expressions of Interest to participate in the Pilot are open
until Tuesday 15 November 5pm.
